DAYTON — From a brand new flat screen TV to new couches, $20,000 worth of furniture, games and electronics are all in one place for teens at the Boys & Girls Club of Dayton to use.
News Center 7 was there when the rent-to-own store, Aaron’s, unveiled the renovation to the teens. Aaron’s Michael Davis said the teens at the Boys & Girls Club of Dayton had a hand in the renovation.

“The kids get to choose and pick everything in this room, so that’s the excitement for us. When they come in here, they get to see all these things that they picked,” Davis said.
Tara Marlow, Boys & Girls Club of Dayton CEO, said the renovation and the room “means everything” to the teens.

Marlow said the coronavirus pandemic has taken a toll on the organization’s membership, so this event helps.
“The teens really didn’t have something to call their own in this club, so this really means everything to them,” Marlow said.
While this renovation only focuses on one room, the organization said they are looking toward a full building renovation.
