MONTGOMERY COUNTY — The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office has identified the man killed after being hit by a semi-truck on Interstate 70 near Brookville early Saturday morning, according to the Dayton post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Joshuwa Lawson, 30, of Gratis.
Crews responded to the 18-mile marker near Preble County Line Road after reports of a pedestrian being hit just after midnight.

Initial investigations showed a pick up truck ran out of gas and was parked along side of I-70, according to a press release from OSHP.
Lawson exited the vehicle and was hit by the semitruck tractor trailer, OSP said.
The westbound lanes of I-70 were closed at the Arlington Road exit for about three hours.
