A Dayton street maintenance crew has shut down Fairport Avenue because of a broken water main Friday afternoon.

The crew has shut off the water, which has buckled the street.
The problem, on Fairport near Kings Highway, was reported just before 4 p.m.
There has been no word on how long repairs will take and the street is reopened.
