Head Kevin Stefanski announced Chubb broke his foot Sunday in the Browns’ 21-7 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

The team said Chubb suffered a foot injury early in the third quarter and did not return.

Stefanski was asked in his postgame presser how long he thinks Chubb will be out.

“I believe he (Chubb) got stepped on, but I don’t (know when he’ll return),” answered Stefanski. “I think with Nick, I’ve told you guys this before, I’ve gotten to have a first-row seat to what he’s been able to do. I can’t tell you how much I respect him as a person, and what he means to this football team, so really, really disappointed about this injury. (It) does not change the fact that he continues to inspire this football team with how he approaches every single day. I know this is another obstacle that he will overcome.”

Chubb suffered a season-ending in 2023 in Week 2 against the Steelers.

He tore his MCL and suffered damage to his meniscus.

Browns defensive end Myles Garrett expressed his frustration after the game.

“I mean, it just goes from bad to worse, man,” he said after the game. “There’s not a more hard-working, just resilient individual in the locker room. And he just has continued to face adversity like this. It’s just tough to see because he’s one of the cornerstones.”

Chubb returned to action this year in Week 7 against the Bengals.

He is set to become an unrestricted free agent in the 2025 offseason.
