CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns officially clinched the second overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Browns will pick behind the Tennessee Titans, whose loss to the Texans secured them the No. 1 overall pick. The Patriots, who were previously projected to have the No. 1 pick, landed the No. 3 pick with a win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

The Browns most recently had the No. 2 overall pick in 2016, but traded it to the No. 8 Philadelphia Eagles, WOIO reported.
Cleveland’s last first-round pick came in 2021 when they drafted cornerback Greg Newsome II with the No. 26 pick.
The Browns had a disappointing 2024 season, finishing last in the AFC North with a 3-14 record.
The 2025 NFL Draft takes place April 24-26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
