DAYTON — Bitter cold temperatures have set in across the region.

Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Britley Ritz is TRACKING these dangerous cold temperatures. She has the latest TIMING and IMPACTS this morning on News Center 7 Daybreak starting at 4:25 a.m.

Today will be the coldest day of the week.
Ritz says some of us will start with below-zero air temperatures for the first time since Christmas Eve 2022 with wind chills of -15 degrees.
Highs will reach the mid-teens today.
In addition, light snow, up to around a half inch, is possible on Thursday, but according to Ritz, it will be warmer.
There is a chance for more precipitation this weekend before even colder air moves in next week.
