Busy Kettering road to experience more closures for construction project starting next week

KETTERING — A stretch of a busy road in Kettering will be closed for several hours each day for an upcoming construction project.

Starting Monday, May 22, East Dorothy Lane will be closed to through traffic between Far Hills Avenue and Shroyer Road, a city spokesperson said. The closure will happen each day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The reason for the closure is for the city to continue the installation of water services onto a new water main.

Any residents directly impacted by the construction will have access to their driveways during the closure.

This portion of the project is anticipated to be completed on May 31.
