A caller told News Center 7 that her daughter was one of the parents who mistakenly received a call Tuesday morning that her child was not at school.

“Phone calls went to the entire middle school call list in error,” said West Carrollton City Schools spokeswoman Janine Corbett. “The principal immediately notified parents by text and One Call when we realized the error occurred.”

The district also addressed the accidental phone calls on Facebook.
