HARRISON TWP., Montgomery County — UPDATE @ 5 p.m.:
The Montgomery County Coroner’s office released the identity of the man shot on Palisades Drive.
Nathen Rue was shot in the head and was pronounced dead on November 10.
His death is being ruled a homicide.
UPDATE @ 2:52 p.m.:
A man is dead after a woman shot him before he crashed into an apartment in the 1900 block of Palisades Drive Friday.
Investigators say they arrived at the apartment and found a crowd of people and a blue SUV that had crashed into the apartment.
A female reportedly approached a deputy as he arrived and stated that she was a CCW permit holder and that she had shot the driver of the blue SUV after he had attempted to strike her with the vehicle, police said.
The female who shot the man was interviewed by police and later released after detectives from the Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit reviewed video footage of the incident.
Several witnesses who had been present when the incident occurred were interviewed as well.
The weapon believed to have been used was recovered and the case will be presented to the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of charges.
INITIAL REPORTT:
A man was seriously hurt after deputies said a woman shot him before he crashed into an apartment on Palisades Drive this afternoon.
The shooting and crash was reported around 1 p.m.

There was significant damage to the front of the apartment that was hit, however no one inside was hurt. Firefighters had to help rescue several people from the neighboring apartment.
The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment and the woman was taken into custody.
The apartment that was hit is not able to be lived in, deputies said.
