SUGAR CREEK TWP., Greene County — One person was flown to the hospital after a crash Thursday afternoon in the area of Wilmington Dayton Road and Lytle Ferry Road in Greene County.

According to a spokesperson with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the driver suffered a medical issue.
The driver’s foot was on the gas pedal, which caused the car to go off the road, graze the side of a building, continue across Wilmington Dayton Road and through a fence.
The driver suffered injuries that were believed to be serious and was flown to a hospital by CareFlight, the spokesperson said.
Rescue crews had to cut the top off the vehicle to get the driver out safely.
The passenger of the vehicle had gotten out prior to the crash.
