GREENE COUNTY — At least four people have been taken to area hospitals after a serious crash two-vehicle crash in Spring Valley Township late Friday night.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was called to a crash in the 3600 block of state Route 380 near Cemetery Road at 11:35 p.m., according to a release from OSHP.

Preliminary investigations showed a 2012 Jeep Wrangler was traveling south on SR 380 when it crossed into the northbound lanes and hit a Ford Escape head-on.
The Ford Escape had four occupants inside the SUV at the time of the crash.
Heather Benner, 22, sustained life-threatening injuries and was flown to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight. Amanda Houseman, 36, of Clarksville, was taken to Miami Valley Hospital with minor injuries. Greg Brandenstein, 41, and James Pagett, 27, were seriously injured and taken to Miami Valley Hospital by emergency crews. Crews are working to determine who the driver of the SUV was at the time of the crash.
The driver of the Jeep fled the scene on foot before crews arrived.
This crash remains under investigation.
