In a 911 call obtained by News Center 7, a woman can be heard telling dispatchers her camper was on fire and she couldn’t get out.

“I’m stuck, the camper is on fire,” the woman told dispatchers.

Initial crews made it on the scene within three minutes to pull the woman out of the camper and the fire was extinguished.

The woman was flown to the hospital by CareFlight with what was described as burns to over half of her body, Unger said. The woman has since been incubated at the hospital and has second-degree burns all over her body

Darke County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Steve Mills said the State Fire Marshal’s Office is on scene and they will be doing a joint investigation on the cause of the fire.
