Catalytic converter stolen from Miami County church bus; Deputies asking for public’s help

MIAMI COUNTY — The Miami County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s help identifying the occupants of a car believed to be involved in the theft of a catalytic converter from a church bus near Tipp City.

Deputies said the incident happened at the Calvary Baptist Church on West Monroe-Concord Road on February 4.

Security video from the parking lot showed a silver Honda Accord with a large black and white Honda sticker across the top windshield at the time of the theft. The car also has black rims.

Deputies said the car appeared to be occupied by two males.

DEPUTIES NEED YOUR HELP! In the overnight hours of Friday, February 4, 2022, the catalytic converter was stolen from the church bus parked at the Calvary Baptist Church located at 1045 West Monroe-Concord Road outside of Tipp City. The church had security footage which captured what appears to be two males in a silver Honda Accord. The accord has a large black and white Honda sticker across the top of the windshield and black rims.
