CENTERVILLE — A Centerville man is accused of trying to assault police and medics while they were trying to save his life during a drug overdose call, police said.
Police and medics were trying to administer the drug overdose reversal medication, Narcan, at the time of the incident this week, police said.
Michael Knab, 28, was arrested Wednesday afternoon after he was discharged from Southview Hospital, police said.
He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on suspicion of attempted assault, however has not been formally charged.

Knab is the same man police arrested in April during a brief standoff on Hampton Road, where he filed a false shooting report.
He was found guilty of making a false report and abuse of 911 following a trial in the April case, records show.
