WILBERFORCE — Early in November Central State University (CSU) launched a “Giving Tuesday” campaign and it ended up delivering.
The University set a goal of $250,000 but ended up earning $320,000 according to a press release from the school.
“We strive to educate and empower the next generation of leaders and change-makers,” Dr. Jack Thomas, the ninth president of Central State University said.

On Tuesday, November 29 actor James Moses Black hosted the hybrid “Giving Tuesday” celebration in the Central State University Student Center.
Black graduated from CSU in 1988.
