MIAMI VALLEY — The Miami Valley is getting another taste of winter weather this week.

Storm Center Meteorologist Ryan Marando continues to TRACK this system. He has latest the TIMING this morning on News Center 7 Daybreak starting at 4;25 a.m.

TIMING:
We will see some light snow showers early this morning. It may lead to a dusting in some spots, but travel conditions should be fine, according to Marando.
There will be a break for much of the day followed by a better chance for snow showers by evening.
IMPACTS:
Anything that falls should be light with only a few slick spots on the roads.
Snow showers this evening could be a bit heavier to briefly reduce visibility and some slick roads.
Total accumulation will be light. We will see scattered accumulations of up to a half inch of snow possible.
As for Thursday, it will be very cold.
Marando says we will see morning lows in the mid-teens. Wind chills will be near or below zero.
We will see afternoon sun, but cold with highs in the mid-20s. Wind chills will remain in the teens.
