1 charged in high-speed I-75 chase

Police officers have one person in custody after a high-speed chase on Interstate 75.

At 3:40 p.m. today, Franklin police attempted to pull over a white Nissan car on Main Street, but the car began to flee.

Officers followed the car onto I-75 northbound, reaching reported speeds of at least 107 mph.

The chase continued into Dayton, where the suspects eventually turned onto Ohio 4.

At approximately 4 p.m., the suspects crashed their car on Stolz Avenue and fled on foot.

Police caught one man and took him into custody. They also found what weapons and drugs on his person. A police dog was used to track other potential suspects.

The man caught was the passenger of the vehicle, identified as Terrell Mabry, 23, of Trotwood. Mabry has been charged with possession of drugs, tampering with evidence and obstructing official business.

The driver of the vehicle remains at large.

Franklin police were aided by the Dayton Police Department and Ohio State Highway Patrol in the pursuit and investigation, which is ongoing.
