DAYTON — The National Council of Negro Women’s Dayton Section (NCNW) will be donating around 300 teddy bears to Montgomery County Children Services.
According to a release, the NCNW will be at Haines Children’s Center around 10:30 a.m. to donate the toys.

This “Teddy Bear Round Up” is an annual event the NCNW organizes.
“The children and families we serve are often going through some challenging times,” said Montgomery County Associate Director of Children Services Craig Rickett. “When Life gets difficult, everyone needs something to hold on to. Thanks to NCNW, a stuffed toy can be that something for these kids.”
