‘Chippin’ in the USA:’ Dayton humane society offering free microchipping ahead of July 4th

DAYTON — The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is offering free microchipping services ahead of Fourth of July festivities.

The service will take place Wednesday through Friday from 1-6 p.m. at the humane society on Nicholas Road.

Microchipping your pet is a way to protect them in case they ever get lost.

After the free chips are gone they will offer to microchip at a discounted rate of $15 per pet.
