WATCH: $10,000 worth of cigarettes stolen during break-in at Kettering convenience store

KETTERING — Surveillance video obtained by this news organization shows thieves breaking into a Kettering convenience store and stealing cigarettes worth thousands of dollars.

Several cartons of cigarettes, valued around $10,000, were stolen from the  Marathon station in the 1900 block of East Whipp Road around 5 a.m.

Large slabs of concrete were thrown into one of the glass doors and allowed the burglars to get inside the store, employees told News Center 7’s Kayla Courvell.

At least 120 cartons of cigarettes, valued at nearly $10,000 were taken during the theft. The three thieves were in the store for around three minutes.

Surveillance video captured the crime and will be looked at by Kettering police, the employee said.
