Cincinnati Reds Opening Day forecast: What to expect today

CINCINNATI — It’s spring and that means it’s baseball season!

Spring also means that it is a season that can be filled with rain and severe weather, so naturally as the Cincinnati Reds open at home today, all eyes turn to the forecast.

The forecast looks nice and mild for this year’s Opening Day. Here’s what to expect weather-wise during the main event and throughout the day.

For the parade: Temperatures will be in the upper 50s with a mix of sun and clouds. 

First pitch: It'll be breezy, but very mild with temperatures in the upper 60s.

Drive home: Expect it to be mainly dry, but cloudy as temperatures drop to around 60 degrees. If you'll be heading  back north into the Miami Valley, a stray rain shower or two could develop.

All in all, look for a pretty good spring afternoon for Opening Day.
