DAYTON — The City of Dayton has promoted two staff members in the city’s Department of Recreation.

City Manager Shelley Dickstein announced Stephen Marcellus will be the Deputy Director of the Department of Recreation while Lisa Barhost is the new Recreation and Youth Services Division Manager, the city announced Thursday.
“We are very happy to promote these dedicated employees as they grow their service to the Dayton community,” Dickstein said. “I look forward to their continued success in the Department of Recreation.”
Marcellus had coordinated recreation and youth program at the YMCA of Greater Dayton before joining the City of Dayton.
Barhost had been working for the City of Dayton since 2016 when she came after serving as the program director at the Xenia YMCA.
