Festival organizers say tens of thousands of people will fill Downtown Troy this weekend.

As temperatures rise, they are going to need to stay safe out there.

News Center 7′s Taylor Robertson said the heat has not slowed down the fun Saturday in Troy.

She says a lot of people are there to enjoy the live music, vendors, and food trucks.

Robertson says if you are going to be in Troy this weekend, make sure you have plenty of water with you and an umbrella for any rain showers and sunscreen.

People from all over the Miami Valley come to Troy to stock up on strawberry donuts.

They have the entire Square blocked off so people can walk around freely.

News Center 7 spoke with three members of a bike club on Saturday. They made the ride from Dayton and found the perfect way to stay cool.

“What are you guys doing to help cope with that heat?” We asked.

“Sweet tea, baby! Lemonade!” they answered.
