SPRINGFIELD — A 35-year-old Springfield man was arrested and ‘significant quantities’ of drugs and cash were seized from a house on Bill Edwards Drive in Springfield Thursday, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Jerome Treadwell was booked into jail and charged with trafficking drugs, illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for manufacturing of drugs and a weapons charge.

Officers came to Treadwell’s house in the first block of Bill Edwards around 11 a.m. after receiving information that he was selling fentanyl out of the house. Treadwell and his 13-year-old son were inside when deputies got there, according to court records.

A search of the home turned up “significant quantities of suspected Fentanyl, Heroin, and Cocaine, along with cash,” deputies said. Over $11,000 in cash was found inside the house, records showed.

Deputies also said they found several guns, including one that had been reported stolen in Dayton.

Treadwell was still in jail Friday.
