This week on Cloudy with a Chance of Podcast, meteorologists McCall Vrydaghs and Kirstie Zontini talk about how to get your yard and garden ready for spring!

They brought in local arborist and landscaping expert, Mark Webber to answer questions about what to do this time of year.

Mark Webber owns his own landscaping business and hosts his own show, “Garden Talk,” from 6 to 9 a.m. Saturday on WHIO AM 1290 and News 95.7.

Webber says this time of year is when people should be getting into their yards and getting everything ready. He discusses what a homeowner can do to get a leg up on growing beautiful grass during the season, they discuss what cool weather plants can go into the ground now and the importance of plant genetics.

The meteorologists also talk to Webber about how a homeowner can be proactive with tree care, now that severe weather season has begun!
