On Feb. 22, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a suspected stolen car in the area of North Dixie Drive and Stop Eight Road in Harrison Twp. One deputy, Michael Profitt, approached the suspect car when Frazier put the car in reverse and then quickly accelerated forward, hitting Profitt head-on. The impact was hit so hard that his radio was embedded into Frazier’s windshield, according to Montgomery County Sheriff Rob Streck.

The deputy was thrown onto the suspected stolen car and fired two shots at Frazier, striking her in the right arm. Profitt was then thrown off the car and landed in the intersection.

Frazier then drove off from the scene and a police pursuit began. She led officers onto I-75 northbound before she came to a stop near the 66 mile marker, just inside the Miami County line. Frazier was taken into custody and transported to Kettering Health Dayton where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The deputy was transported to Miami Valley Hospital. He was treated for his injuries and released the next day.

“This defendant had no regard for the life or safety of the deputy and others and displayed a complete lack of respect for the law. Cases like this remind us of the dangers that law enforcement officers face every day. Luckily, the victim/deputy didn’t sustain more serious injuries or even death,” Mat Heck, Jr., Montgomery County Prosecutor, said.

Frazier is currently booked in the Montgomery County Jail. Her bond is set at $1,000,000.

She is scheduled to be arraigned on March 8 at 8:30 a.m.
