COLUMBUS — The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium has announced the newest addition to the zoo’s Asia Quest region.
In a social media post, zoo officials introduced the world to a baby langur that was born Nov. 5. The baby, a girl, was born to its parents Daria and Thai.

Zoo officials said mom and baby were doing well. Daria will continue to nurse the baby, who’s name has not been announced, over the next few months.
This was Daria’s second baby since arriving at the Columbus Zoo and eighth birth in total.

The zoo said langurs are bright orange at birth and slowly turn grey in the first six months.
The baby marked the zoo’s 19th baby langur since the langur habitat opened in 2006.
