MIAMI VALLEY — Communities across the Miami Valley are cleaning up following Sunday night’s storms.

The National Weather Service issued tornado warnings for Montgomery, Miami, and Miami Counties just after 7 p.m. Then, another tornado warning was issued for Champaign County just after 8 p.m. and one for Clinton County just after 9 p.m.
Several trees were reported down in Christiansburg near State Route 55, according to the National Weather Service
Trees were also reported down across Montgomery County in areas like Orchard Hill Drive, Heincke Road and Frederick, according to the Montgomery County Regional dispatch page.
Around 7:20 p.m., the National Weather Service shared a photo of Vandalia near Dayton International Airport of what they said was a tornado.
Around 7:30 p.m., an iWitness 7 viewer in Dayton sent pictures of a tree in the roadway and onto a car.

News Center 7′s Xavier Hershovitz checked out storm damage in Tipp City just off State Route 202.
There are trees and branches down along the neighborhood.
One person told Hershovitz no injuries have been reported.
A homeowner said a tree is holding up power lines and AES Ohio was called to his home.

At its peak, nearly 5,000 people in the Miami Valley were without power with the majority of the outages being in the Vandalia area.
The National Weather Service will be surveying storm damage from Sunday night.
