Local blood bank in need of Type O blood; Offering gas cards, Bengals season tickets

DAYTON — Community Blood Center (CBC) is in short supply of Type O blood and is asking for donations to overcome a mid-summer decline in the blood supply.

The center is hosting “Fueling Up Friday & Saturday” at the Dayton CBC Donation Center on South Main Street.

Those who register to donate today will receive a $10 Speedway gas card and be entered in a drawing to win a pair of 2022 Bengals season tickets.

The tickets include all ten home games, beginning with the preseason opener on Aug. 12, according to the CBC.

Donors must be at least 17 years old and provide photo identification; that includes their full name.
