MONTGOMERY COUNTY — The contraflow lane on I-75 in Dayton has reopened after a major winter storm shut it down.

The contraflow lane on I-75 southbound was shut down due to a major winter storm that dumped several inches of snow across the Miami Valley on Monday.

In a post made on Facebook, the Ohio Department of Transportation confirmed that the contraflow is now reopened.
“Good morning! If you are traveling south on I-75 in the Dayton area, the contraflow lane is OPEN for travel. Shout out to our Montgomery County crews for their efforts in reopening this lane,” the post read.
