DETAILED FORECAST

Overnight: Scattered showers continue and winds will remain breezy to gusty, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Dontae Jones said. Temperatures will be falling quickly and dipping into the lower 40s for an overnight low.

Saturday: Morning showers move east before sunrise and it turns colder quickly, starting around 40 degrees and only getting back to the middle to upper 50s for the afternoon. Some gusty winds around 20 mph are possible. Clouds break for sunshine by early to mid-morning.

Sunday: It will be a cold, sunny and bright morning as most will be down into the mid and upper 30s. There will be a light breeze to limit overall frost development but protected areas of the yard might see some in cities that get into the middle 30s. Sunshine returns later in the day with highs in the middle 60s.

Monday: It will be a nice start to the new week with sunny skies as highs reach the mid to upper 60s.

Tuesday: We will see a dry start to the day with highs in the upper 60s and some rain showers expected towards evening.

Wednesday: The chance of a lingering morning shower will give way to partly to mostly sunny skies for the afternoon, breezy and cool with highs in the upper 50s.
