DAYTON — Ben & Jerry's annual "Free Cone Day" is a popular event across the country, but this year, it's being pushed back due to concerns about the Coronavirus.
The event has been held on the second Tuesday of April in recent years and typically draws large crowds to the company's stores.
However, many of the stores are in places where public gatherings are either banned or discouraged.
The company says it plans to reschedule Free Cone Day for later this year.
Ben & Jerry's has one local location on Brown Street in Dayton.
