Coronavirus: Carl’s Body Shop owner holds second round of graduation ceremonies

SUGARCREEK TWP. — Matt Miller, owner of Carl’s Body Shop, held a graduation ceremony on his 26 acre farm in Sugarcreek Twp. for 2020 graduates from 10 a.m. to noon Sunday.

This is not the first time Miller has offered his property to graduates to help them celebrate and give them a little normalcy during the pandemic.

On May 23, he had nearly 200 graduates from the Miami Valley walk across a stage he built in his back yard to honor their 2020 accomplishment of graduating high school.

The ceremony in May was such a hit that West Carrollton students decided to take the stage this afternoon.

“This may not be the real deal, but these students will look back and see how creative people can be especially in times like these,” he said.
