Coronavirus: Gas prices plummet to $1.55 a gallon

Gas prices are down to as low as $1.55 in the area as coronavirus spreads across the state and country.

As of 4 p.m., the lowest price for a gallon of unleaded gas in the Dayton area was selling for $1.55 at the Meijer gas station in Huber Heights, according to WHIO's Pump Patrol.

The average gas price in the country is $2.20. Oklahoma has the lowest average price for gas at $1.35 a gallon.
