Coronavirus: Pop-up testing focused on minority access coming to Xenia, Dayton this week

DAYTON — Two pop-up testing sites focused on minority access will be offered in Xenia and Dayton this week.

“The COVID-19 Minority Health Strike Force has worked with local partners to create pop-up testing sites in communities where access to testing may be limited,” said Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine.

“By joining with the Ohio National Guard and other local partners, we can provide tests to any Ohioan who wants one. With a better understanding of COVID-19 through increased testing, we’ll be better able to prevent its spread.”

Five Rivers Health Centers is hosting both sites:

  • The Xenia site, 360 Wilson Drive, will be open Wednesday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • The Dayton site, 921 S. Edwin C. Moses Boulevard, will be open Thursday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

No appointment is needed at either site and the coronavirus test is free.
