The city of Kettering is asking residents who normally visit the city buildings for services to conduct business at www.ketteringoh.org or by telephone now through April 30, as city facilities and offices are closed to the public.

Closed facilities include:
- City Government Center (north and south buildings)
- Tax Division - Residents are asked to use online services, drop box or call 937-296-2502
- Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Facilities – Recreation Center, Kettering Fitness and Wellness Center (Trent), Charles I. Lathrem Senior Center, Parks Maintenance and Fraze FanFare Store. Outdoor parks remain open and Polen Farm is available for previously-scheduled events only
- Public Service Building
- Yard Debris Center
- Public Meetings: Kettering City Council meetings will continue as scheduled; all other meetings, including city boards and commissions, are canceled through April 30.
- All city volunteer assignments: canceled.
- Citizen Police Academy: canceled.
- Tax Returns: Call the City Tax Division for assistance at 937-296-2502, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or use the drop box for tax payments and returns outside the north city building. You may also file your taxes at https://www.ketteringoh.org/departments/income-tax-division.
- Planning & Development Department: Building permit activity can be conducted at https://www.ketteringoh.org/departments/planning-development-department. Staff is prepared to take calls at 937-296-2441. If absolutely necessary, staff will meet in person by appointment only. Inspections will be scheduled online and by phone.
- Engineering Department: Right-of-way and utility permits can be obtained at
https://www.ketteringoh.org/departments/engineering-department/. Staff is prepared to take
your calls at 937-296-2436. If absolutely necessary, staff will meet in person by appointment only. Inspections will be scheduled by phone.
