DAYTON — Due to high volume of shopping this past week in response to the coronavirus, Walmart is adjusting store hours, beginning Sunday, March 15.

According to Walmart’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Dacona Smith, the new hours of operation will be 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Stores already operating at reduced hours will keep their current hours of operation.

These new hours will allow store associates to perform cleaning, sanitation duties and replenish stock.

The new hours will be in effect until further notice.
