BELLFONTAINE — Honda and the Center for Science and Industry have partnered to launch a nationwide project that will distribute thousands of “Engineering Learning Lunchboxes” to students.
The kits will contain 10 hours of science, technology, engineering and math content with five engineering-focused learning activities, according to a release.

The “lunchboxes” will be distributed to students in kindergarten through eighth grade during the “Honda Engineering Roadshow” which will make stops across the nation over the next year.
The first distribution event will take place Oct. 10 in Bellefontaine in partnership with Second Harvest Foodbank of Clark, Champaign and Logan Counties.
The event will kick off at the Kroger in High Point Village Plaza and is expected to serve 500 children and families.
