Country Concert breaks attendance records in return to Fort Loramie

FORT LORAMIE — Country Concert 2021 set new attendance records on Thursday and Friday as the Fort Loramie tradition returned after having a year off due to the pandemic, officials announced.

Total attendance for the three-day music festival was 78,298 people.

Organizers said Thursday’s attendance of 25,753 people and Friday’s attendance of 25,266 people were both records. Saturday’s attendance of 27,279 was just shy of the record set in 2014.

“It was a great weekend for us and the community,” said Jim Prenger, one of the organizers of Country Concert.

This year’s festival was headlined by Luke Combs, Alan Jackson and Jason Aldean. Centerville native, and former American Idol contestant, Alexis Gomez also performed this year.

The 2021 Country Concert was the 40th anniversary of the event.
