A deputy has requested countywide officer assistance after a foot chase ended on Salem Avenue in Harrison Twp. Wednesday.
A single-vehicle crash was reported near the intersection of Prescott and Piccadily avenues around 11:55 a.m., according to initial reports.
Reports indicate the driver fled the scene and was spotted by a deputy who started to chase him on foot.
The request for officer assistance was made after the deputy reported the person was fighting him, according to emergency scanner traffic.
The driver was reportedly taken into custody near the intersection of Salem Avenue and Klepinger Road.
