Crews contain fire that broke out in Riverside house

RIVERSIDE — Firefighters were able to quickly contain a fire that broke out in the kitchen of a Riverside home Tuesday morning.

Crews were dispatched to the 2600 block of Guernsey Dell around 7:30 a.m. and reported smoke coming from the structure, according to emergency scanner traffic.

Investigators said the blaze was contained to the kitchen, which was under renovation. The cause of the fire is unknown, but is not believed to be suspicious.

No injuries were reported.
