Officials were dispatched to the 7800 block and found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames around 6:45 a.m.

The owner, who was not inside the vehicle at the time of the blaze, told fire officials that she went inside while the car was warming up and came back outside to the SUV on fire.

Initial reports indicate the fire may have spread to the house, but firefighters confirm the flames only spread to another car that was also in the driveway.

Occupants evacuated the home while crews handled the incident. No injuries were reported.

The fire’s start remains under investigation.
