DAYTON — UPDATE 1:01 p.m. ET Nov. 29: Crews responded to a crash on US-35 on-ramp to Interstate 75 northbound early Tuesday morning.
Two vehicles, involving a semi truck, crashed at the on-ramp that caused responding officers to shutdown both westbound and eastbound US-35 lanes to Interstate 75, Montgomery County dispatch confirmed.
News Center 7 Reporter Xavier Hershovitz traveled near the scene and verified that the highway ramps were shut down and traffic was being diverted away from the crash.

The semi truck rolled over during the crash and leaked fuel, a spokesperson for Montgomery County dispatch informed. There was visible smoke coming from the crash; however, there were no car fires during the incident. On-scene crew reportedly called for a sand truck to handle the leaked fluid.
A person was trapped after the crash and required Dayton Fire to extricate them, dispatch said.
Medics were called to the scene and at least one person was taken to Miami Valley Hospital for non-life threatening injuries, the spokesperson stated.

Dayton Police were confirmed to be handling the scene by Montgomery County’s Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatch.
Crews at the scene reportedly called for Ohio Department of Transportation to handle the highway clean-up process.
