KETTERING — Two people were taken to the hospital after a vehicle crashed into multiple cars and homes Friday night in Kettering.

Crews were called to respond to the area of East Whipp Road and Old Mill Road just before 10 p.m. to respond to reports of a vehicle into a house, according to initial reports.

Law enforcement on scene told News Center 7 that a vehicle went off of the roadway, struck two parked cars, ended up hitting two houses, and came to a rest against a tree.

The vehicle seemed to have been going at least 80 miles per hour before crashing, according to initial reports on scene.

Sgt. Jesika Shriver-Kelch says when crews arrived on scene, two people inside of the vehicle were being extricated and were taken to the hospital to be evaluated for their injuries.

Shriver-Kelch says the crash is still under investigation.

News Center 7 will continue updating this story as we learn more about the crash.
