Darke County — A barn was destroyed in an overnight fire on U.S. 127 just south of the village of Castine Thursday morning.
The fire was in the 200 block of US 127 and was reported around 5 a.m.

Two pieces of farm equipment were destroyed by the flames.
Several Darke County deputies were on the scene investigating and firefighters said a cause is still under investigation.
No injuries to any people or animals were reported at this time.
