SPRINGFIELD — UPDATE @ 8:16 P.M.:
Springfield Police say they believe the shooting at at Springfield gas station is an “instance of domestic violence.”
In a release, officials said police were dispatched to the 400 block of South Burnett Road on a report of multiple people shot.
Upon arrival, investigators found three victims, one adult female, one adult male and a juvenile male. While investigating, police located another victim, a juvenile female. All four were taken to Springfield Regional Medical Center where the adult male was pronounced dead.
The three remaining victims are undergoing medical treatment.
“Investigators believe this is an instance of domestic violence and officers are working to locate the suspect at this time,” Captain Brad Moos, Springfield Police Division said.

Springfield Police confirm that one person, an adult, has been killed in the Saturday afternoon shooting at a Springfield gas station.
Police confirm another adult and a child sustained gunshot wounds. Their conditions are unknown at this time. A second child was injured in the shooting.
Police are currently investigating the shooting. The suspect is at large.
INITIAL REPORT:
Police and medics are responding to a shooting that happened at Speedway in Springfield Saturday afternoon.
Springfield dispatch told told News Center 7 that crews were dispatched to the 400 block of South Burnett Road around 1:30 p.m.
Initial emergency scanner traffic indicated that at least two people had been shot inside of the gas station and at least one person had been shot in the parking lot. Scanner traffic also indicated that two victims were juveniles who had sustained gunshot wounds to the leg.
Dispatch confirmed at least one person was transported to Miami Valley Hospital.
Additional details on how many victims there are or the extent of their injuries were not made available at this time.
Crime scene tape can be seen surrounding the gas station.
