Cat rescued from Kettering house fire

UPDATE @ 3:03 a.m.:

Fire crews have left the scene of a house fire on Flesher Avenue in Kettering.

According to Kettering Police dispatchers, there were no reports of any injuries in the fire.

Our first responder on scene reported seeing a cat being rescued from the home and give it to two adults standing outside.

INITIAL REPORT:

Crews are working on putting out a house fire in the 1500 block of Flesher Avenue in Kettering.

The incident was dispatched about 10:30 p.m. We have not heard any reports of injury.

We're hearing there was smoke showing on one side of the one-story dwelling.
