BEAVERCREEK — Monday was a big night for big money.
At least one person became an instant millionaire in Greene County and $675 million is up for grabs in the latest Powerball drawing.
An entire street near Beaver-Vu Bowl was blocked off by Beavercreek police Monday night as a parking lot full of people hoped their name would be called.
People watched the bowling alley live stream the results, celebrating each time the queen wasn’t chosen.
Their hopes were still high after two people picked cards but then a man chose card 49.
It was the Queen of Hearts and he became an instant millionaire.
A crowd of people were left disappointed.
Ginny Greene was one of them but said other people had been camped out a the bowling alley since last night.

“Somebody up there and I just found this out, spent the night in their car,” Greene said.
Greene said she arrived around noon for the 8 p.m. drawing.
Greg Moore showed up to set up his spot
He said he’s been coming to Beaver Vu’s Queen of Hearts drawing since it started.
“We have some money invested in this,” Moore said.
He described the excitement and chaos.
“A line all the way around the building,” he said. “Beavercreek’s not ready for it.
But the Queen of Hearts drawing isn’t the only gamble did tonight.
“I’m paying the Powerball as well,” he said.
Hearing the odds of winning the Powerball are one in 292 million didn’t deter Moore.
For those who don’t win the Powerball, you still have a chance at big bucks.
Tuesday’s Mega Million jackpot is 480 million.
