Temperatures are in the single digits this morning with wind chill values near -10 degrees.
A round of light snow showers will pass through with light accumulations. We could see around a half-inch to an inch of snow along Interstate 70 and north.
It will be dangerously cold again on Wednesday. This will be the worst day of the week.
Some of us will start the day with below-zero air temperatures for the first time since Christmas Eve 2022 and wind chills of -15 degrees.
Highs will reach the mid-teens on Wednesday.
On Thursday morning, we will see temperatures near zero degrees with air temperatures in the single digits. Highs will reach the upper 20s to around 30 degrees and a few flurries are possible later in the day.
A slight warm-up is in sight for this weekend before another arctic blast arrives.
