Darke County Sheriff’s Office hosting ‘Warm Winter Wear For Children’ program

DARKE COUNTY — The Darke County Sheriff’s Office is hosting its annual “Warm Winter Wear For Children” program.

The sheriff’s office is now collecting new hats, gloves, and coats for children in need. The items will be distributed throughout the county schools and individuals requesting the items, according to the sheriff’s office.

Donations for the program will be accepted at the Darke County Sheriff’s Office until the end of November.

Monetary donations should be made payable to “Warm Winter Wear” and mailed to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office located on 5185 County Home Road, Greenville, Ohio 45331, the sheriff’s office said.

The sheriff’s office says that in previous years, donations allowed them to provide 245 coats to children.
